The Piranhas
Pine Ridge Swim Club is the proud home of The Piranhas Swim Team.
Our swim team is open to children of swim club members ages 4 to 18 years old. We offer a fun, competitive, summer swimming experience and aim to help our swimmers learn to work together as a team and enjoy the sport of swimming.
Our team competes against local swim clubs in the Freestate Swim League, including Campus Cabana, Eagles Nest, Hampton, Stoneleigh, Valley, Wiltondale, Woodcroft and York Manor. Meets are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 p.m. During home meets, the pool will close at 4:30 p.m. for members.
For those not quite ready for the swim team, swim lessons are available to help prepare children and adults feel comfortable and confident in the water.

Our Swim Team Coaches
Eva Joyce
Head Coach
Mallory Rossi
Assistant Coach
Mallory Rossi has been married to her husband Tony for 8 years, and has a beautiful 4 year old daughter, Gabriella. Mallory attended Loch Raven High School, where she played soccer and lacrosse. After high school, she received a degree in Early Childhood Education and a masters in Special Education from Towson University and is currently a Pre-K teacher at Woodhome Elementary School in Baltimore City. Way back in 1994, Mallory, her parents, sister joined Pine Ridge Swim Club, which was the same year she became a Pine Ridge Piranha. Besides swimming for the Piranha’s, Mallory competed in year round swimming with the KCO Swim Club. At 16 years old Mallory was hired as a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor for Pine Ridge and eventually was promoted to assistant manager. At the same time, Mallory was asked to be the head coach of the Piranha’s, which remains as one of her all-time favorite jobs. Mallory was so excited when the opportunity was presented to re-join the Piranha family this year. She hopes for the children to form lifelong friendships, have fun, and of course, learn to love the sport of swimming just as she once did.
